Habitat presents Financial Recovery financial education class

Gulfport, MS (January 18, 2017) – Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast will be presenting a workshop titled “Financial Recovery” on Thursday, January 26, 2017.
Designed to bring hope to families struggling to recover from a financial setback, this course will equip participants with proactive, practical strategies for getting back on their feet. The objective is to help participants visualize a brighter future and realize that their current financial difficulties don’t have to be permanent.
There is no cost to attend Financial Recovery, but registration is required.

Financial Recovery is part of HFHMGC’s FINANCIAL FOUNDATIONS  program to help motivated individuals and families achieve personal financial goals beyond homeownership. FINANCIAL FOUNDATIONS is a personal finance education and counseling program designed to equip individuals with the tools needed to reclaim control of their finances. Courses and counseling cover a variety of topics including credit repair, developing a family savings & spending plan, rental counseling, foreclosure prevention, and much more. Through an array of seminars, workshops and one-on-one counseling, participants will have the opportunity to learn valuable financial management skills and work with a Habitat Program Specialist to craft their own individualized action plan.
