Chevron Employees to Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity to Commemorate Katrina Anniversary

To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast is building these three new homes in Pascagoula, MS in Fowler Fields, a 13 home subdivision being developed by HFHMGC for low to moderate income families located off Lanier Avenue.

Over twenty employees from Chevron’s Pascagoula Refinery will volunteer at the Fowler Fields construction site on Friday, August 7, 2015.  The company also has made a $3,500 house sponsorship contribution to HFHMGC’s Hurricane Katrina 10th Anniversary Fund.  The work will include installing windows, exterior doors and interior walls.

“We look forward to having Chevron partner with us as botha key sponsor and as volunteers,” said Adele Lyons, Director of Development at HFHMGC.  “We could not be successful without business partners who volunteer their time to give back to the community.  The work and support Chevron is providing invaluable.”
