Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast will be hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University beginning Monday, February 15, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
New York Times best-selling personal finance expert Dave Ramsey will lead participants via video instruction through a 9-week journey to living debt free. HFHMGC Deputy Director of Client Services Tomesha Thompson, will facilitate weekly discussion and activities to assist participants in applying the lessons to their lives.
“Financial Peace University is so much fun to coordinate. Every week there is something different to make you think of the role of money and how it affects your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being,” said Thompson.
Financial Peace University courses will continue every Monday night at 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. for 9 weeks from February 15 through April 11. Courses will be held at the Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast office located at 2214 – 34th Street Gulfport.
The cost of the course is $92 per family which covers the cost of the workbook, textbook audio CDs and an envelope system for managing cash. There is a reduced rate available for those who meet income requirements.
